Some Duties Include: Responsible, in liaison with the Assistant Director of Administration (Equality), for the continued development and implementation of new methods of research/consultation with relevant stakeholders to prepare a detailed and budgeted Good Relations Strategy.
Responsible for accessing grant aid Responsible for the efficient day to day management of the Internal programmes and its budget, and in liaison with the Assistant Director of Administration (Equality), responsible for preparation of estimates, budgetary control and preparation of reports Responsible for developing, organising, delivering and promoting Internal Good Relations projects and events. Responsible for the organising, promoting and delivering, in partnership with other agencies, Good Relations training programmes to staff. Responsible for organising a programme of seminars on Good Relations, Civic Leaderships, Racial Equality, Shared Future issues which challenges and informs the elected members of Newry and Mourne Carry out duties for all jobs up to and including those in the grade / scale set for this post, provided such duties are deemed to be within the area of work. Carry out all the duties of the post in the working conditions normally inherent in the job
Essential criteria: Have a third level qualification.Demonstrate at least 2 years’ experience of developing and implementing good relations projects. Demonstrate at least 1 year’s experience in administrating a project budget. Experience in providing written detailed reports (for example Strategies, Action Plans, Budget Analysis and Management Reports) to senior management.
