8.30 to 5 Monday to Thursday & 8.30 to 2pm Friday.

  Job purpose

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring products meet required Quality and safety standards.

                                               Duties and responsibilities

Performing Incoming Inspections on goods received

Ensuring products meet quality requirements

Maintaining records of defective products

Segregation of defective products

Assisting the Warehouse Manager in ensuring stock is used on a first in first out basis

Performing stock checks on products

Assisting the Warehouse Manager in picking products for production

Updating daily production control records

Performing data entry and administration work when required

Maintain a high level of communication between Production & Purchasing Departments

Ensure working area is kept clean and tidy

Adhere to all Company Health, Safety, and Quality Procedures at all times

To carry out all other duties as required by your manager

Qualifications

A good level of Math’s and English

Ability to work on own initiative

Great attention to detail

Proficient use of Microsoft Applications & Computers

This role will involve a high level of numeracy, communication, and problem-solving skills, and heavy lifting. Full training will be provided.
