Bawnless Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for meat factory general operatives for immediate start in Armagh

Pay Rate: competitive

Hours per week: 40

Working hours: Monday –Friday 7am - 3 pm (varies)

Job Type: Ongoing / Temporary to permanent

Duties

  • Loading materials and products into package-processing equipment

  • Measuring, weighing and counting product materials

  • Moving or lifting heavy objects up to 30kg

  • Loading, unloading or stacking products or materials

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area.

  • Sorting manufacturing materials or products

  • Operating packaging machine equipment

  • Recording product, packaging and order information on forms and record

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

  • Qualifications/Experience:

  • Adhere to Quality, HSE, Hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations

  • Ability to use your own initiative

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Be able to demonstrate knife skills and knowledge of boning/slaughter operations is desirable.  Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous
