Job Overview:

We are seeking a depot manager with mechanical duties and tyre fitting duties to join our maintenance team duties to include Recruiting, training, staff, retail sales, customer service and mentoring tyre fitters and technicians.

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on fleet vans, including tyre fitting, brake checks, oil changes, and general mechanical servicing

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals

Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and assembly tasks

Perform tyre fitting duties, including removing old tyres, inspecting wheels, and fitting new tyres safely and efficiently

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities

    Repairing, replacing and fitting vehicle tyres

         Performing seasonal tyre changeovers

  Selling car, motorbike and general vehicle tyres

   Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth)

         Checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation

         Inflating vehicle tyres

         Helping customers to choose products that meet their requirements

         Preparing quotes and invoices
