Overview:

Welder Fabricator responsible for building, assembling, and repairing heavy-duty agricultural machinery and components

  Job duties:

Fabricate and weld heavy-gauge metal components using primarily MIG/MAG and Stick welding processes.

Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and geometric dimensions.

Operate workshop machinery including plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, guillotine shears, and press brakes.

Measure, cut, and prep steel profiles, ensuring accurate tolerances and minimal material waste.

Clamp, tack-weld, and bolt components together in jigs to ensure precise alignment before final welding.

Inspect finished products for weld defects, straightness, and structural integrity using precision measuring tools.

Conduct repairs and modifications on used farm equipment, diagnosing structural weaknesses and reinforcing them.

Adhere to Health & Safety standards, including the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping a clean workspace
